Every image we work on carries meaning. Whether you’re restoring a time-worn photograph, recreating a moment that was never captured, or removing a distraction that pulls focus from what matters, each edit is handled by hand with care and intention. No automation. No shortcuts. Just thoughtful, high-end editing designed to preserve emotion, memory, and authenticity — always with respect for your story.

Each service below is designed for a different kind of moment — from subtle refinement to meaningful re-creation.

Moment
Re-Creation

Some moments are too meaningful to be missing.
Whether it’s a loved one who couldn’t be there or a photograph that was never taken, this bespoke service delicately recreates what should have existed — with careful compositing, photorealism, and emotional sensitivity. Each image is crafted to feel as though the moment was captured exactly as it was meant to be.

What the client asked for:

The photographer had missed a photo of the bride with her mother — a moment that meant the world to her. She sent two separate images, one of herself and one of her mom, and asked if it would be possible to bring them together into a single memory, with their arms linked as they would have been on the day.

What I did:

I extended the background of the bride’s photo to create natural space, then carefully composited her mother beside her, matching light, depth, and perspective. Every adjustment was made by hand to ensure the result felt emotionally and visually authentic — as if the photograph had always existed.

Photo
Restoration

Breathing life back into the past.
This service restores damaged, faded, or time-worn photographs with care and precision. From repairing tears to reconstructing lost details and colour, each image is restored by hand to preserve emotion, legacy, and memory — ready to be shared again with the people who matter.

The story behind my favourite photo:

This portrait of my grandma is one of my most prized possessions, taken decades ago but terribly weathered and destroyed with time. Since her passing in 2021, I have wanted to honour her memory ever since.

I planned to repair the image so that it could be enjoyed in detail again and eventually printed large enough to be displayed proudly in my home.

What I did:

I meticulously corrected years of wear and tear, repairing deep creases, scratches, and discolouration while restoring lost facial features in both the subject and the background. The image was then delicately coloured to recreate the vibrancy of the occasion, with careful attention to skin tones, materials, and lighting. The final result is a timeless portrait, restored and ready to be preserved for future generations.

Distraction Extraction

The moment is perfect — except for what’s pulling focus away.
Distraction Extraction removes unwanted elements from your image while preserving light, texture, and realism. Whether it’s a crowded background or an accidental photobomber, the goal is simple: let the moment speak without interruption.

What I did:

I carefully removed the distracting background elements while preserving the original lighting, depth, and atmosphere of the scene. Every adjustment was blended by hand to ensure the image remained natural and untouched in feeling — allowing the couple to stay at the center of the moment, exactly as it should be.

What the client asked for:

The couple loved their engagement photo, but felt distracted by several background elements that pulled attention away from the moment. They wanted the focus to stay on them — without the image feeling too artificial.

Sometimes the most meaningful edits are the ones you never notice.

Signature
Retouch

Sometimes the smallest refinements make the most meaningful difference.
Signature Retouch is designed for images that already feel right, but need gentle, considered enhancement — balancing light, tone, and detail while preserving what makes the image feel natural and unmistakably you.

What the client asked for:

The client wanted her portrait refined for her LinkedIn profile. She asked for improved lighting on her face, the removal of background distractions (except the plant on the far right), a soft background blur, and a more natural blonde hair tone by reducing the yellow hues.

What I did:

I corrected the exposure to bring natural light and clarity to her features, simplified the scene by removing distractions, and applied a subtle background blur. I preserved her natural skin balance and adjusted hair tones for a cooler, more polished finish — resulting in a professional portrait that feels confident, clean, and authentic.
